The Akuvox SR01 is an ultra-compact security door I/O module that mounts inside a standard installation box on the secure side of the door, away from the door station itself. It communicates with the door phone over encrypted RS485, and if anyone attempts to dismount or vandalize the door station on the unsecure side, the SR01 cuts the connection to the door strike, so the door remains securely locked.
