Akuvox EC33P Compact Lift Controller
The Akuvox EC33P is a slim, DIN-rail style IP elevator access controller that uses HTTP commands to communicate with other Akuvox devices. Each unit provides 32 relay outputs, and can connect to an expansion controller over RS485 to reach up to 128 outputs — double the expansion capacity of the standard EC33. It supports Wiegand 26/34 card readers and Akuvox Cloud.

Core Features
Detailed Breakdown
32 Floor Outputs, Expandable to 128: Each EC33P provides 32 relay outputs; connecting expansion controllers over RS485 scales this to 128 floors, double the EC33’s expansion ceiling.
Wiegand 26/34 Reader Support: Connects to Wiegand card readers to restrict which floors a resident or visitor’s credential can select.
HTTP Integration with Akuvox Devices: Communicates with other Akuvox intercoms and access control terminals over HTTP commands, and works with Akuvox Cloud.
Compact, Slim-Profile Enclosure: At 292 x 156 x 32mm, the EC33P has a slimmer, more space-efficient profile than the standard EC33 for tight switchboard installations.
Fire Alarm Input: A dedicated fire alarm input can trigger emergency door release or normal lift commands during an alarm event.
PoE or Mains Powered: Runs on IEEE 802.3af PoE (≤10W) for single-cable installation, or a 100-240VAC mains supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q&A
Both provide 32 relay outputs and the same card and log capacity, but the EC33P has a slimmer 292 x 156 x 32mm profile and can expand to 128 outputs across expansion controllers, compared to the EC33’s 64.
One EC33P provides 32 relay outputs, one per floor. Connecting additional EC33P units as expansion controllers over RS485 extends this to up to 128 floors.
No. The EC33P is a lift controller, not a reader. It connects to separate Wiegand 26/34 card readers to restrict which floors a credential can access.
The EC33P has a dedicated fire alarm input that can trigger emergency door release or a normal lift command response when connected to the building’s fire alarm system.
It supports IEEE 802.3af PoE for single-cable installation, or a 100-240VAC mains supply where PoE isn’t available.
