Akuvox EC33 Lift Controller
The Akuvox EC33 is an IP-based elevator access controller that uses HTTP commands to communicate with other Akuvox devices. Each unit provides 32 relay outputs, one per controlled floor, and can connect to an expansion controller over RS485 to reach 64 outputs. It supports Wiegand 26/34 card readers and works with Akuvox indoor monitors for remote elevator calling.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q&A
The EC33 is an elevator access controller that restricts which floors a lift button will respond to based on a resident or visitor’s credential, commonly used in apartment and office buildings alongside Akuvox intercoms.
One EC33 provides 32 relay outputs, one per floor. Connecting a second EC33 as an expansion controller over RS485 extends this to 64 floors.
Yes, when paired with an Akuvox indoor monitor. The EC33 supports remote elevator calling, letting a resident call the lift to their floor directly from their unit’s touchscreen.
The EC33 has a dedicated fire alarm input that can trigger emergency door release or a normal lift command response when connected to the building’s fire alarm system.
