Frequently Asked Questions
The R49G is a 7-inch Android master station designed for reception desks, building guardhouses, and concierge points. It can run as a standard SIP business phone or switch to a dedicated guard/intercom interface for managing visitor calls and door access from a single device.
Yes. The R49G combines its 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with a physical keypad, giving front-desk and guardhouse staff a fast, tactile way to dial extensions or answer calls alongside the touch interface.
Both are supported. The R49G has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless installation, and also supports PoE over a wired Ethernet connection for single-cable power and networking where preferred.
The R49G's 2MP camera has a physical privacy shutter that can be closed to block the lens when the station isn't actively being used for a video call, giving staff control over when the camera can see the room.
The R49G supports PoE for single-cable installation, or a bundled AC 100-240V power adapter that outputs 12V/1A DC where PoE isn't available at the desk or guardhouse location.
