The TurretCam HL (126260) is a newer, upgraded model — not just a recolour. Key differences: the HL has hybrid illumination (IR + white light up to 50m each) vs IR-only up to 35m on the standard model; the HL operates from −30°C to +60°C vs −25°C to +40°C; and the HL adds IK08 impact resistance and a wider 120 dB True WDR rating. Choose the HL for full-colour night footage capability or more demanding environments.

The camera contains both IR LEDs (invisible infrared light) and white LEDs (visible white light). Hybrid illumination automatically switches between infrared and white light based on object recognition or motion detection, enabling colour video at night when required. The system automatically adjusts the intensity of both IR and white LEDs in real time to prevent overexposure — ensuring clear visibility of objects at varying distances in low-light conditions.

Not with PoE. A single Cat5e/Cat6 cable from an 802.3af/at PoE switch provides both power (up to 7.2W max) and data. Alternatively, 12V DC (±20%, 1A) can be used with a maximum consumption of 6.3W. PoE is the recommended installation method.
