It depends on your system configuration. When used with an Ajax hub, ManualCallPoint sends an alarm/event to the Ajax system, and sirens, app notifications and other actions then operate according to your configured system settings. When used with an Ajax CIE/EN54 Line, the fire response follows the configured CIE/EN54 system logic. Pressing the button is not an unconditional direct siren trigger in every configuration.

Can it be used outdoors?
No — this model is indoor-rated. Outdoor models are available separately.

Will it still work if the internet is down?
Yes — it communicates wirelessly with the hub. External alerts depend on hub connectivity.
