AJAX TurretCam HL 8MP 2.8mm Black - 4K AI Hybrid Illumination IP Camera

The camera has IR LEDs and a white LED, each reaching up to 164 ft (about 50 m). Intelligent lighting control adjusts both in real time so close and distant objects stay clear. The TurretCam is the IR-only model. Check the model name and code before you order, or ask us and we will confirm it for you.

Either by PoE (802.3at/af) over one network cable, or from an external 12 V DC plus or minus 20%, 1 A supply. On PoE it uses up to 7.7 W on average (8.3 W maximum), and on 12 V up to 6.6 W on average (7.1 W maximum).

It is rated IP66 and IK08 and operates from -22 to 140 degrees F (about -30 to 60 degrees C) at up to 90% humidity. Ajax lists it for outdoor and indoor use.

The IR and white LED illumination reaches up to 164 ft (about 50 m) and adjusts its strength in real time. The detection distances Ajax publishes for this lens are 295 ft to detect a person, 118 ft to observe, 59 ft to recognise and 29 ft to identify.

It is conformant with ONVIF Profile G and S, so it can be used with ONVIF recorders. Ajax notes that H.265 encoding, motion and AI event transmission and WDR control are not ONVIF conformant, so some functions may be limited outside the Ajax system. Ask us to check your recorder first.

Yes. Ajax also lists a 4 mm version of the TurretCam HL 8 MP. A longer lens gives a narrower view that reaches further, for example along a driveway or gate. The 2.8 mm model on this page has a 100 to 110 degree view.
