The AJAX BulletCam HLVF (8 MP) is a wired AI-powered IP bullet camera with a 2.8 to 12 mm motorised varifocal lens, hybrid IR and white LED illumination, True WDR, a built-in microphone, and audio and alarm inputs and outputs. It runs on PoE or 12 V and is rated IP67 and IK10 for outdoor and indoor use.

Frequently Asked Questions

They are separate Ajax models. The BulletCam HLVF (8 MP) on this page has a 1/2.8 inch sensor, a 2.8-12 mm lens at f/1.6 and a horizontal field of view of 31 to 111 degrees. The Superior BulletCam HLVF has a larger 1/1.8 inch sensor, a P-iris lens at f/1.4-2.3, microSD support up to 512 GB and a bigger body. Check the model name before you order.

Either by PoE (802.3at/af, Class 3) over one network cable, or from an external 12 V DC, 1 A supply on the 2-pin screw terminal. Power use is up to 6 W on average and up to 12 W at maximum.

It is rated IP67 and IK10 and operates from -40 to 140 degrees F (about -40 to 60 degrees C) at up to 90% humidity. Ajax lists it for outdoor and indoor use.

The camera, an installation template, an installation kit, 3 screw terminal connectors and a quick start guide. A microSD card, network cable and power supply are not part of the complete set.

It is conformant with ONVIF Profile G and S, so it can be used with ONVIF recorders. Ajax notes that H.265 encoding, motion and AI event transmission and WDR control are not ONVIF conformant, so some functions may be limited outside the Ajax system. Ask us to check your recorder first.

No. Ajax states that the BulletCam HLVF is not compatible with MountCam mounts. The camera has its own swivel mounting bracket. If you need a different position, ask us before you buy.
